Terms and Conditions for Cannock Hub

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cannock Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the service.

2. User Accounts and Conduct

  • Eligibility: You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • Prohibited Behavior: Users are prohibited from uploading content that is illegal, harassing, or harmful to the Cannock community.
  • News Content: To maintain a constructive environment, commenting is disabled for all news posts. Users may read and share news but cannot post public text comments on these articles.

3. Hub Reels Usage

  • Recording: When using the Reel Maker, you are responsible for the content you record.
  • Limits: Reels are limited to 30 seconds.
  • Views: You acknowledge that the system tracks and displays view counts for Reels to show community engagement.
  • Camera/Audio: By using the recording feature, you grant the application permission to access your camera and microphone for the duration of the recording.

4. Direct Messaging and Walls

  • Privacy: While we provide a secure platform for chat, users are encouraged not to share sensitive personal information (like passwords or bank details) via the Hub Chat.
  • Wall Posts: You are responsible for content posted on your wall or a friend’s wall. Cannock Hub reserves the right to remove content that violates community standards.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of the media you upload (Reels, Photos). However, by posting on Cannock Hub, you grant us a license to display that content to other users on the platform.
  • Our Content: The Cannock Hub logo, design, and software are the property of Cannock Hub and may not be used without permission.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in behavior that is detrimental to the Cannock Hub community.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cannock Hub is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any technical issues, loss of data, or the conduct of other users.
