1. Be a Good Neighbour
Cannock Hub is for the local community. We expect all users to treat each other with respect.
- No Harassment: Bullying, stalking, or targeted harassment of other members will not be tolerated.
- Respect Privacy: Do not share other people’s private information (phone numbers, home addresses) without their explicit consent.
2. Hub Reels Safety
Our Reel feature is designed for fun, local sharing.
- Appropriate Content: Do not upload reels containing violence, nudity, or illegal acts.
- Consent: Ensure you have the permission of anyone appearing in your 30-second videos before you share them.
- Reporting: If you see a Reel that violates these rules, use the “Report” feature or contact an admin immediately.
3. News & Public Information
We aim to keep Cannock Hub a reliable source for local news.
- Accuracy: Please do not share “fake news” or unverified rumors that could cause panic in the community.
- Constructive Environment: To prevent toxicity and spam, commenting is disabled for all news posts. This ensures the news remains a clean space for information. Charlie our AI bot will give people the chance to have a debate so add him as a friend so you can keep up to date and get involved.
4. Direct Messaging (Hub Chat)
- Safe Chat: Be cautious when chatting with people you don’t know personally.
- No Spam: Do not use direct messages to blast advertisements or repetitive links to other members.
5. Wall Posts & Tagging
- Positive Interactions: Use your wall and tagging features to build connections, not to tear others down.
- Tagging Etiquette: Only tag users in Reels or posts that are actually relevant to them.
6. Zero Tolerance Policy
Cannock Hub reserves the right to remove any content or ban any user who engages in:
- Hate speech or discrimination.
- Impersonation of other people or local officials.
- Distribution of malware or phishing links.
