Staffordshire Police have confirmed that a major search operation on Cannock Chase has concluded successfully this morning, Sunday, February 15. Emergency units were deployed to the Brocton and German War Cemetery area in the early hours following reports of a missing vulnerable individual. The operation focused on the dense woodland surrounding the Katyn Memorial. Witnesses reported seeing multiple police vehicles stationed along Camp Road. At approximately 9:00 AM, officers confirmed the individual had been located safe but cold near the Marquis Drive boundary. While the search has ended, a police presence remains to manage the high volume of Sunday traffic.
