Commuters may have noticed a high number of officers at Cannock Train Station this afternoon. British Transport Police, supported by Staffordshire Police, conducted a pre-planned operation to tackle anti-social behavior and fare evasion. Several individuals were spoken to, and the police have confirmed this is part of a wider “Safe Travel” initiative for South Staffordshire.
