Council Confirms Green Link Expansion: Mill Street Works to Intensify

Cannock Chase District Council provided a progress update this Sunday regarding the “Green Link” project connecting McArthurGlen to the Town Centre. Work begins to shift toward the Mill Street and Church Street corridor tomorrow. The strategy aims to encourage outlet shoppers to walk into the town centre to boost local trade. This next phase includes new paving and “living walls.” While welcomed by the Chamber of Commerce, some residents have raised concerns about the noise and loss of parking during construction.
