Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Chadsmoor today following reports of a fire originating in an outbuilding behind a local takeaway. Residents reported seeing thick smoke rising from the rear of the High Street area. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to the main commercial properties. While the cause is still being investigated, no injuries have been reported. A small portion of the road was cordoned off temporarily to allow crews to work safely, but access has since been restored.
